TAMARAC, FL – The holiday season is just around the corner, and the City of Tamarac is ready to kick off the festivities with its annual Holiday Lighting Ceremony on Thursday, December 5th at 6:30 PM. This family-friendly event will take place at Caporella Park, located at 5200 Prospect Road, and will bring the community together to celebrate the joy and wonder of the holiday season.
 
The evening will feature the Mayor and Commission Lighting Ceremony, where the Christmas tree, Menorah, and Kwanzaa displays will be illuminated, marking the start of the holiday season in Tamarac. The ceremony will be followed by a special appearance by Santa Claus, adding extra cheer and excitement for the little ones.
